What else can I do? January 24th 7.15-9.45pm in Nottingham

Have you ever thought about what else you could do? It can be difficult to picture your experience and skills being relevant to doing something different. And given the job situation should you go for doing more of what you already know or is there something else you'd really like to do? If so, how do you make a living from it?

Whether you are worried about your work or no longer enjoying it this evening will give you chance to explore what else you could do.  Hear the stories of others who have made scary changes in their careers, ask the questions on your mind (or get Jeanne to ask them), talk to others making changes and those that can help.
  • Hear the stories of others who've switched careers, moving jobs from public to private sector and vice versa, or starting their own enterprises - what did they learn, what phased them and what advice can they pass on? Fantastic lineup of career-change story-tellers - including Rob Pittam, Sarah McNichol, Sue Townsend, Netty Reddish & David Ajose - check out something of their stories below.
  • Lloydie, radio presenter and improvisation expert demonstrates some ways of seeing yourself doing something different and how to convince others!
  • Discover recommended books, services and people to help
  • Network with other people making changes
